Message from President (BICA 94, 2022)

I am writing this message at the end of 2021, during the second year of the Covid-19 pandemic. No medal presentations took place in 2021, but conferences resumed, albeit remotely. I hope that we will be able to attend conferences in person sometime in 2022. In the meantime, however, many ICA activities continue. Conference Announcement: Combinatorial and Algebraic Enumeration, May 24-27, 2022, University of Waterloo

This is the second announcement for the conference Combinatorial and Algebraic Enumeration in honour of Ian Goulden and David Jackson at the University of Waterloo, to be held in person May 24 - 27, 2022. At the moment, the conference is planned in person (see website for updates). To maximize flexibility, there is no registration fee but we encourage your registration before the event. As a consequence of the lack of registration fee, there is a fee for banquet tickets; these can be added when you register or at a later date. We have a great lineup of speakers (see list below). In addition, attendees, especially students, are encouraged to consider preparing a submission for the poster session accompanying the conference. All areas of discrete mathematics are welcome. We welcome and encourage the participation from researchers and students from underrepresented groups. The deadline to submit an abstract for a contributed poster is March 31, 2022.  The conference webpage
